Follow these tips to ensure your breastmilk jewerly lasts a lifetime! Please note that not adhering to these care tips may result in damage to your precious piece.

Avoid Contact with Water and Chemicals: We recommend removing your breastmilk jewelry before bathing or showering, washing your hands, or applying hand sanitizer. Additionally, it's a good idea to take it off before going swimming. The accumulation of residue and exposure to chemicals from water sources or swimming pools can gradually dull the sheen of your breastmilk stone.

Gentle Cleaning: When necessary, clean your breastmilk jewelry using cool water and mild soap. Avoid using jewelry cleaners or harsh chemicals as they may potentially damage the surface of the breastmilk stone. It's also best to steer clear of perfume, which often contains alcohol. If your breastmilk stone loses its luster due to contact with chemicals or oils from your skin, simply polish it with a soft, clean cloth to restore its shine.

Sterling Silver Maintenance: If your piece includes sterling silver
components, it may require occasional polishing to maintain its shiny appearance. You can use silver polish on these parts, being cautious to avoid contact with the breastmilk stone.

Proper Storage: To prevent tarnishing, it's advisable to store your jewelry in airtight containers. Sterling silver is susceptible to tarnish when
exposed to factors such as chlorine, sulfur, household bleach, and other strong
chemicals.

What is breast milk jewelry?
Breast milk jewelry is a unique creation made from your own breast milk. Your milk is carefully sterilized, preserved, and blended with a special jewelry resin mixture to craft your breast milk stone.

 

What we can use

We love to make breastfeeding stones, but it wasn’t the unique thing that we can use to make jewelry, so you can send in your own special inclusions, like flowers (we have some dried, ask for it), ashes, hair, or umbilical cord.

 

Can I use more than one milk in my order?

The price of each individual jewelry piece or set covers the preservation of one breast milk sample. If you wish to incorporate multiple milk samples into a single piece, you may mix the milks together before sending them. If you'd like to order a jewelry set and have different milks there is an additional $15 charge per extra preserved milk.

 

Turn around time

Our turnaround times typically range from 6-9 weeks, depending on the season and workload. If we are able to complete your order ahead of this time frame, we will be thrilled to notify you and send it your way so you can start enjoying it. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we aim to deliver your cherished pieces as efficiently as possible.

 

Can I use old or frozen breast milk?

Yes, but only make sure that the milk is room temperature before mail it.

 

How long will my jewelry last?

If cared for properly, I design my pieces to last a lifetime. I use high quality materials and preservation chemicals, so please make sure to see the jewelry care section.

  • ASHES- 1/2 to 1 tsp ashes 

  • FLOWERS- 2-4 flower petals 

  • UMBILICAL CORD- entire umbilical cord

 *ashes, flowers + umbilical cord stump-if there is any leftover I will sent them back to you with your jewelry.

 

What happen with the rest of my inclusions?

We will store any remaining preserved milk for up to one year, so if you decide to order another piece of jewelry in the future, you won't need to send it again. In the case of petals, umbilical cord, ashes, and so on, we will return any remaining materials along with your completed jewelry.

 

If I want a piece in solid gold, can you create it?
